Isuzu Alterra and Isuzu Crosswind, both are SUVs but catering to totally different customer needs altogether. Isuzu Crosswind on one hand sticks to its basic design and model is much more suited for pulling cargo rather than going on an off-road journey. On the other hand Isuzu Alterra is a much more luxurious and comfortable ride that has a lot to entertain its passengers. Isuzu Alterra from outside looks like a typical tough and rugged SUV but inside it includes features that take care of every possible needs of the passenger taking the passenger experience to a whole new level.

If we talk about the power then Isuzu Alterra is powered by 4JJ-TC iTEC Common-rail Direct-injection Diesel with Turbo Intercooler, Euro-3 whereas Isuzu Crosswind has a 4JA1-L Turbo Direct Injection Diesel, Euro 2 fitted at its heart.

Isuzu Alterra has a tank capacity of 76 litres whereas it’s just 55 litres in an Isuzu Crosswind.

Isuzu Alterra flaunts 16 inch Alloy, Gun Metal finish wheels whereas the Isuzu Crosswind has smaller wheels. It comes with 15 inch, Chrome finish alloy wheels.

Steering wheel in an Isuzu Alterra is a Rack and Pinion; Collapsible Steering Column which is made in black leather and the Isuzu Crosswind have a Recirculating Ball and Nut steering with power assist.

Exteriors

Coming to the looks, Isuzu Alterra has a very luxury car type of exteriors done to it as compared to the Isuzu Crosswind.

Isuzu Crosswind tries to match the Isuzu Alterra in terms of exteriors but Isuzu Alterra is a clear winner here.

Interiors

Just like exteriors, Isuzu Alterra has interiors which the Isuzu Crosswind can’t match.

Isuzu Alterra has a beautiful Electro Luminescent Instrument Panel with Digital Average Consumption Meter Display, Digital Odometer and Tripmeter, that illuminates orange in colour, a Digital Ambient Temperature Display an entertainment package that includes a 2DIN DVD/MPEG4/RDS-Tuner with Touch Screen Monitor, DTS and Dolby Digital Decoder and 5.1 Channel Digital Surround with SD Card Reader, Bluetooth Connectivity and Navigation Ready. Isuzu crosswind comes with a Single In-Dash DVD/WMA/MP3/Tuner, Built-In 3*LCD Monitor, and USB Feature, Dual 7-inch wide Screen Headrest Mounted Hi-Resolution LCD Monitor, and Six Speakers including 2 Tweeters. Other than this it also has Black Center Console Box and Cup holders in the 2nd row.
